Malam Darfur Peace and Development continues to regularly send weekly food convoys to support families in need in Al Fasher. On March 7, 2026, the 18th day of Ramadan, the convoy entered the city and distributed 1,200 food baskets to 1,200 families in need in the Naivasha and Abu Shouk displacement camps, as well as in the neighborhoods of Al-Salam, Al-Wuhda, Tambasi, and Al-Thawra South.
MDPD will continue sending these food convoys to Al Fasher every week, while also providing daily Ramadan iftar meals for residents throughout the holy month.
