Throughout Ramadan, MDPD kitchen made a meaningful contribution to addressing the urgent food needs of residents in Al Fasher. Moving between displacement camps, shelters, and neighborhoods, the team worked to reach as many people as possible with daily Iftar meals. Over time, MDPD’s Iftar gatherings became valued community events that people looked forward to and celebrated. Together with the weekly food convoys, these efforts helped provide a significant level of food security to those in need across the city.
