Malam Darfur Peace and Development kitchen in Al Fasher has become a vital, consistent source of daily meals for those in need. In addition, weekly food baskets support around 1,200 families. This service has been ongoing since late November 2025, fostering a strong bond between the kitchen and the community it serves. Maintaining this support has become essential, particularly in the absence of other organizations providing similar assistance.
On April 12, 2026, the kitchen provided daily meals to more than 4,450 people at its location in Abu Shouk.
