As the holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, the kitchen continued to receive a strong daily turnout of people fasting in Al Fasher. Throughout the month, Malam Darfur Peace and Development kitchen has been moving across displacement camps, shelters, and neighborhoods to provide Iftar meals.
On March 18, 2026 (29th of Ramadan), the kitchen served Iftar to around 2,100 people in Abu Shouk and nearby neighborhoods.
