With a great turnout and participation from the displaced communities in cooking and preparation, MDPD kitchen served Ramadan Iftar to more than 2,700 fasting individuals in Naivasha IPDs camp in Al Fasher on February 25, 2026, the eighth of Ramadan.
Malam Darfur Peace and Development Kitchen has arrived at Naivasha IDPs Camp in Al-Fasher and provided Ramadan Iftar for around 2,500 fasting individuals

On February 24, 2023, the seventh day of Ramadan, MDPD Kitchen reached Naivasha Camp, which is one of the largest IDP camps in North Darfur. The kitchen served Iftar to nearly 2,500 people in the camp, which includes returnees from Tawila, rural Al-Fasher, and towns like Tura and Melleet, as well as Kotom and Kabkabiya.

Peace and Development kitchen in Al-Wifaq and Al-Shakireen neighborhoods in Al Fasher.On February 23, 2026, the sixth of Ramadan, the MDPD kitchen provided its second Ramadan Iftar for the residents of the southeastern neighborhoods of Al Fasher,in Al-Wifaq and Al-Shakireen. The turnout was amazing, with about 3,000 people coming together to break their fast.

On February 22, 2026, which was the fifth of Ramadan, the MDPD kitchen arrived at Al-Wifaq and Al-Shakireen neighborhoods and offered Iftar to more than 2,000 people. The residents of the area include displaced individuals from places like karkara, Dar Al-Salam, Al-Koma, Tawila, Kabkabiya, Kotom, and Milleet.
