In the four Al-Nasr neighborhoods of Al Fasher, Malam Darfur Peace and Development mobile community kitchen provided daily meals to more than 2,000 people, while Abu Shouk kitchen continued serving food to more than 5,000 people.
This reflects the ongoing work of the two community kitchens operated by Malam Darfur Peace and Development in Al Fasher on May 10, 2026, at a time when most residents of the city have come to rely on the food assistance that MDPD continues to provide through its community kitchens and weekly food basket distributions.
