As the days go by, the kitchen is delivering food to vulnerable populations within the city, with Malam Darfur Peace and Development Kitchen moving into neighborhoods and shelters to reach those in need. Our team in Al Fasher has gained valuable experience in assessing the nutritional and non-nutritional needs of the community, including access to clean drinking water, healthcare, education, and peaceful coexistence programs. This was evident at Abu Shok shelter and the surrounding areas, which house approximately 5,300 families. On February 8, 2026, the kitchen served its third meal there and plans to continue providing meals for additional days.
