The number of people coming to Malam Darfur Peace and Development (MDPD) community kitchen in Al Fasher continues to rise steadily, with more than 3,550 individuals now benefiting from the daily meals.
This increasing demand has placed additional pressure on the kitchen team and its dedicated volunteers, who continue to respond with remarkable commitment and efficiency. The MDPD team is working tirelessly to scale up efforts and meet the growing needs of the community.
On March 5, 2026, the kitchen provided its daily meal to over 3,550 people at its location in Abu Shouk, Al Fasher.
