Every morning, more than 7,000 children, women, and men wait for the daily meals provided by Malam Darfur Peace and Development to people in need across Al Fasher. At the same time, families look forward to the arrival of MDPD’s weekly food basket convoy, which supports 1,200 families with enough food supplies for at least two weeks.
On May 14, 2026, Abu Shouk Community Kitchen provided daily meals to more than 5,000 people, while the mobile community kitchen served daily meals to more than 2,000 people in Naivasha IDP Camp.
