On May 29, 2026, the Abu Shouk Community Kitchen, operated by Malam Darfur Peace and Development (MDPD), continued providing daily meals to more than 5,000 people as part of its ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities in Al Fasher.
At the same time, MDPD’s mobile community kitchen reached Al-Thawra North neighborhood, where it provided daily meals to more than 1,300 people from the area, in addition to beneficiaries from four neighboring neighborhoods. This effort reflects MDPD’s continued efforts to reaching people in need across different parts of the city.
