On March 1, 2026 — the 12th day of Ramadan — and for the second consecutive day, Malam Darfur Peace and Development kitchen hosted more than 2,500 people in Al Salam, Al Fasher.
The kitchen continues to move between displacement camps, shelter centers, and neighborhoods across the city, bringing the spirit of Ramadan to life by engaging community members in preparing and serving meals, and strengthening social bonds through collective Iftars.
