On Friday, February 6, 2026, the daily service of Malam Darfur Peace and Development Kitchen arrived to Abu Shouk neighborhood in Al Fasher to provide daily meals for the residents in the area over the course of several days.
Abu Shouk is connected to two other neighborhoods, Al-Bashir and Al-Rahma, with approximately 5,300 families residing in the neighborhoods. The kitchen began its daily meal service on January 31, 2026, in Al-Salam neighborhood for three days before moving to Al-Thawra neighborhood for an additional three days, and it is now serving meals to the residents of Abu Shouk.
