On February 28, 2026, the 11th day of Ramadan, Malam Darfur Peace and Development (MDPD) Kitchen reached Al-Salam neighborhood in Al Fasher and provided Iftar meals for more than 2,400 fasting people.
MDPD continues to serve daily Ramadan Iftar to those in need across Al Fasher throughout the holy month, in addition to distributing 1,200 food baskets every week to families in the city.
