Through its continuous movement between shelters and neighborhoods in Al Fasher, staying in each area for three consecutive days, Malam Darfur Peace and Development Kitchen has been able to provide meals to tens of thousands of residents in Abu Shouk shelter and Al Salam, Al Thawra and Al Tiganea neighborhoods. In addition, MDPD sends two food convoys each week to distribute food baskets to 1,200 families.
On February 11, 2026, the kitchen provided its third meal to the residents of Al Tagania neighborhood, many of whom have recently returned.
