By moving between neighborhoods and shelters in Al-Fasher and providing daily meals, Malam Darfur Peace and Development Kitchen has successfully delivered meals to thousands of residents consistently. On February 13, 2026, the kitchen served its second meal to the residents of Al-Gabal neighborhood. While these meals are vital for those in need within the city, the residents have shared with us their urgent need for other essential services, particularly clean drinking water, healthcare, and education.
