On March 4/2026, the fifteenth day of Ramadan, Malam Darfur Peace and Development (MDPD) kitchen witnessed a large turnout in the densely populated Abu Shouk neighborhood in Al Fasher, where it served Ramadan Iftar to around 1,300 fasting residents.
The kitchen will continue providing daily Ramadan Iftar for fasting people across Al Fasher throughout the holy month, moving between displacement camps, shelters, and different neighborhoods in the city.
