We are delighted to share that our team in Darfur has successfully continued the seamless delivery of food assistance to Al Fasher.
Despite the challenges associated with preparation, particularly the grinding of millet in Tawila and Korma due to the lack of grain mills in Al Fasher, our team has managed to double the number of food caravans.
On December 24, 2025, Malam Darfur Peace and Development sent two food caravans to the city of Al Fasher, carrying a total of 1,200 food baskets.
These were distributed in various shelters as follows:
Al-Rasheed University Shelter: 150 food baskets were distributed to 150 families.
Amna Bint Wahb Shelter: 460 food baskets were provided to 460 families. Additionally, families from the Al-Sahafa Shelter and the Al-Shagara Shelter also received support.
German Hospital Shelter in Abu Shouk IDP Camp: 590 food baskets were allocated to 590 families.
