A large number of residents in Al Fasher continue to rely on Malam Darfur Peace and Development as the only organization still providing uninterrupted food assistance.
On May 13, 2026, MDPD continued its daily humanitarian efforts in Al Fasher. Abu Shouk community kitchen provided daily meals to more than 5,000 people, while the mobile kitchen served food to more than 1,600 people in Naivasha IDP camp.
