Tombasi is one of the long-established neighborhoods in Al-Fasher. Recently, a significant number of its residents have returned from rural areas around Al-Fasher, Neyala, and Dar Al-Salam.On March 12, 2026 — the 23rd day of Ramadan, Malam Darfur Peace and Development (MDPD) kitchen reached Tombasi neighborhood and provided Iftar for around 550 fasting people.
