On May 17, 2026, Malam Darfur Peace and Development (MDPD) continued its ongoing humanitarian efforts to provide essential food assistance to the people of Al Fasher, many of whom continue to rely on MDPD as a vital and consistent source of support.
On this day, Abu Shouk Community Kitchen provided daily meals to more than 5,000 people, while the mobile community kitchen served daily meals to more than 1,600 people in Al Shakireen neighborhood and nearby areas, as part of MDPD’s continued efforts to reaching vulnerable communities across the city.
