MDPD has launched the second phase of its humanitarian operations in Al-Fasher, beginning on February 1, 2026. This phase aims to provide continuous and uninterrupted food aid over the next two months to meet the urgent food needs of the residents through two types of assistance.
- Weekly Food Convoys
MDPD is dispatching weekly food convoys that deliver food baskets to 1,200 families, directly aiding those in need. - Daily Meal Provision
MDPD kitchen has commenced operations to serve daily meals, aiming to feed approximately 3,000 people every day.
Recent Activities:
On January 31, 2026, with financial support from AVAAZ, MDPD successfully distributed food baskets to 1,200 families in Al-Fasher. The distribution included 428 food baskets in the Al-Masan’e neighborhood and 772 baskets Al-Nasr neighborhood, directly impacting the lives of vulnerable families.
